International Students Program School Excellence Award
In 2024, Concord Public School received the International Students Program School Excellence Award at the state level. This award recognises best practice for schools in delivering activities and initiatives that support international students. As a school, we:
- Employed a whole-of-school approach to supporting international students.
- Assisted students in adapting to life in Australia and school life in NSW.
- Fostered connections between international students and local students.
- Provided support for international students to develop leadership skills.
Celebrating Laraib K. – IAC 2025 Mission Patch Art Competition
Congratulations to our talented student Laraib K., a finalist in the IAC 2025 Mission Patch Art Competition!
Laraib’s design, inspired by “Sustainable Space: Resilient Earth,” will be showcased at the International Astronautical Congress in Darling Harbour this October.
We are so proud of this incredible achievement. Well done, Laraib!
Australian Mathematics Competition Success
We are proud to announce that Austin T. has achieved the Prize Award in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC), placing him in the top 0.3% of students nationwide.
This outstanding result is a testament to Austin’s dedication, problem-solving skills, and passion for mathematics. Congratulations, Austin, on this remarkable achievement!
Concord Public School Shines at Zone Athletics Carnival
Concord Public School achieved an incredible result, finishing second overall in the zone—a fantastic achievement for our school community. Even more exciting, eight of our students have qualified for the Sydney East Regional Carnival.
A very special congratulations goes to Isaac W, who was crowned the Overall Junior Champion of the Zone Carnival. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a reflection of Isaac’s dedication and talent.
